Plan, organize, write, and edit reference, usage, and support documents for digital and mixed signal Synopsys DesignWare IP products. Research engineering schematics and specifications with design engineers. Help coordinate documentation layout and organization. Acquire, organize, and incorporate source material, including engineering specifications, internal write-ups and illustrations, and customer feedback. Suggest documentation approaches and develop procedures to expedite and reduce cycle time. Learn about products through reading, product use, and interviewing and collaborating with developers and support engineers.
Must have BS with 8 years of relevant experience, MS with 6+ years of relevant experience, or related Ph.D. with 4 years of experience. Broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in applicable disciplines along with a working knowledge of multiple related fields. Ability to consistently meet deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team. Strong Adobe Framemaker experience required and broad knowledge of XML, HTML, and standard publications software preferred. Experience with DDR memory technology and mixed-signal processes a strong plus. You will be required to provide work samples and undergo a writing test. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
