Technical Architect Verification IP (Location:- Bangalore)

Education/Industry experience
• B.S/B.E./B.Tech => Electronics and Communication. In this case expected experience is about 12 years in the relevant area
• M.S/M.Tech => Electronics & communication or VLSI or Computer science. In this case expected experience is about 10+ years in the relevant area.

Relevant experience
• Associated with Verification especially using industry standard protocols & methodology
– Can be ASIC or SOC verification sign off (full verification cycle) for at least 2 projects.
– Can be VIP development => at least fully handled 2 VIP developments
• Involved & played a lead role with development of reusable Verification environments for at least 2 verification projects using VMM/OVM/UVM methodologies.
• Protocol experience: At least 2 of the major protocols that VIP product supports.
– USB, Ethernet, SATA, PCI-E, AMBA, OCP (which we call Tier 1)
– MIPI, HDMI, I2C, SIO (which we call Tier 2)
• Languages: Hands on experience with System Verilog & Verilog at a minimum. Should have used Object Oriented Programming in the projects worked on.

Job responsibilities
• Responsible for driving and signing off architectural & methodology decisions to be used in VIP (Across the board that has impact on the whole VIP product)
• Responsible & can be relied for review sign off of VIP updates from technical perspective. Primary responsibility will be from methodology review and code review for simulation performance (across all 3 simulators) & long term maintenance of the VIP
• Being able to review the code from protocol functional perspective will be an additional plus.
• Able to individually contribute to the development of either a single VIP (e.g. Low power mode in Ethernet VIP) or methodology enhancements (e.g. Scoreboard in Base class) that will have bearing on the complete product as a whole.
• Liaison with Architects in U.S to achieve resolutions on issues or driving decisions from architecture/methodology perspective
• Locally should be to be “go to” person on all technical aspects of VIP.
