Manager II, R&D (Location:- Bangalore)

Job Description and Requirements:-

Hands on technical manager. Will manage a small team and be an active participant in product development, maintenance, and customer support. The candidate will manage a team of engineers working on Synopsys IP reuse tools whose focus is to enable the deployment of highly configurable RTL components and the automated assembly of these components into large subsystems. The candidate is expected to design, implement, and test in a large and complex software development

environment split between C++ and TCL. The candidate will help refine development processes to enable higher team productivity and code quality. Will interact directly with internal and external customers regarding technical issues related to the products.



Requirements:



- BS in CS/EE with 8-10 years of relevant experience, MS with 7+ years of relevant experience, or Ph.D. with 4+ years of relevant experience.

- Strong C++ and TCL programming skills.

- Solid problem solving and debugging skills are required.

- Must be familiar with software development processes and associated tools.

- Familiarity with hardware description languages is desired.

- Experience with technical leadership and/or management is beneficial.

- Exposure to IP design or SoC assembly tools and processes would be ideal.
- A history of direct customer interaction is a strong plus.
