Description:

This position is for the High Level Synthesis team in the Synopsys Solutions Group in Bangalore to help develop and support the Synphony Model Compiler product. Synphony Model Compiler is a library of high level DSP building blocks delivered through the Mathworks Simulink environment. Designs created with the library can be synthesized into hardware using the Synphony Model Compiler high level synthesis engine.



The candidate will be responsible for working with the product team in all aspects of the product development cycle including development of RTL implementation of IP blocks, feature validation, bug reporting and validation against releases, analyzing and working on regressions, preparing training material, and reviewing documentation. You will also be responsible for providing support to customers and field ACs using the product. You will work closely with the Model Compiler team in Turkey and USA on new projects.



Requirements:

- BS in CS/EE with 5+ years of relevant experience or MS with 3+ years of relevant experience.

- Strong background in Digital Design using Verilog/VHDL.

- Strong background and experience in implementing DSP designs targeting either a DSP processor or targeting custom FPGA/ASIC hardware.

- Automation skills using scripting languages such as Perl/TCL/Shell.

- Exposure to EDA tools/technologies and evaluation of IP for system specific optimizations.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
